best usdt casino canada - cryptocurrency coins on a table

If you hold Tether and want to play casino games with it, the first thing to know is that "accepts USDT" and "is a good USDT casino" are not the same thing. Plenty of casinos will happily take your Tether. Far fewer let you choose a cheap network, pay you back in Tether, and keep your balance in a stable dollar value from deposit to withdrawal. That last part is the whole reason to use a stablecoin in the first place. I went through the casinos we cover for Canadians, and the differences are bigger than the marketing suggests.

The ground rules first. You must be of legal age in your province: 19 in most provinces, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Cloudbet, the casino linked on this page, holds a Curaçao licence and is not licensed by any Canadian province. The other casinos on this page are offshore too. In your province, the legal online casino is the provincial one (PlayNow, Loto-Québec or ALC, for example). This site does not serve Ontario or Alberta residents. Example amounts below are made up to show the maths.

The short answer

For a Canadian who wants to deposit and withdraw in USDT, Cloudbet is the strongest fit of the casinos we cover. It accepts USDT on seven networks (Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, Solana, Polygon, Tron and TON), has a minimum deposit of around US$1 or less depending on the network, lets you withdraw in USDT, and pays its rewards in USDT or your active currency with no rollover. That's why it's linked at the top of this page.

Vegas Aces and SlotsParadise both accept Tether deposits, with crypto deposits from $10 up to $50,000. The catch is on the way out: both pay out in Bitcoin. So your balance is stable while you play, but your withdrawal lands in a coin that moves with the market. SlotsParadise does have one thing going for Canadians: its welcome bonuses are open to players in the USA and Canada. Vegas Aces' terms limit its welcome bonuses to players in the United States.

BetUS publishes a Tether deposit guide and accepts Canadians through crypto only. It hasn't publicly confirmed which Tether networks it accepts, so you need to check the network shown in the cashier before you send anything.

None of these casinos is licensed by a Canadian province. If being legal in your province matters most to you, the provincial site is the answer, and it doesn't take crypto at all.

What makes a USDT casino actually good

Before comparing names, it helps to agree on what you're comparing. Here's what matters when your bankroll lives in Tether.

Keep these seven points in mind as you read the comparison. They're also a good checklist for any USDT casino we don't cover here.

USDT casinos compared for Canadian players

One line in that table matters more than the rest: where your withdrawal goes. If you want to stay in stablecoins from start to finish, only one of these four confirms it.

Cloudbet: the most complete USDT setup

Cloudbet has been operating since 2013 and was built around crypto from day one. It holds a Curaçao licence and isn't licensed by any Canadian province. We don't recommend it to Ontario or Alberta residents.

Networks. Cloudbet accepts USDT on seven networks: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, Solana, Polygon, Tron and TON. There's no USDT on Base, even though Base is supported for some other coins. Bridged or wrapped versions such as USDT.e are not supported, so make sure you're sending native USDT on the network you select. If you hold USDC instead, note that Cloudbet's USDC networks are different: USDC is accepted on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Solana, Polygon and Base, but not on Tron or TON.

Minimum deposit. Around US$1 or less, depending on the coin and network. The exact minimum is shown on the deposit screen, and anything below it may not be credited. That's handy for a test deposit.

Withdrawals. You can withdraw in USDT. Cloudbet's own help article says withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours, with the network fee shown before you confirm and a minimum that varies by coin. Cloudbet doesn't add its own fee on top of the network fee, and you can cancel a withdrawal until it's broadcast to the blockchain.

Verification. Cloudbet's terms call for identity verification once cumulative deposits reach about US$2,200. Unverified (Level 1) accounts also have a daily withdrawal limit of US$2,200. Level 2 verification, with ID, proof of address and a face check, removes the daily limit, although very large withdrawals can still get an extra review. There's one more rule worth knowing: before withdrawing, unverified accounts need to wager 100% of their deposits, while verified accounts only need 25%. Only settled bets count. If you plan to play regularly, verify early.

Rewards in USDT. Cloudbet's rewards program has eight permanent tiers based on lifetime turnover, from Bronze up to Blue Diamond. Casino rakeback starts at 5% of the house edge on your bets, with temporary "turbo" boosts, and there are daily, weekly and monthly casino cash drops. Level-up rewards and rakeback are paid in USDT or your active currency with no rollover. For a USDT player, that matters: you're not getting bonus money locked behind wagering, you're getting dollars back.

Welcome package. New players get a 30-day welcome package worth up to $2,500, paid through rakeback and cash drops. It activates with a first deposit of any amount. Read the offer page for the exact mechanics before you start, since details can change.

What could be better. Cloudbet's casino lobby is big, but if you're specifically after US-style slots from smaller studios, Vegas Aces or SlotsParadise may carry titles you won't find there. And like every offshore casino, there's no Canadian regulator to call if something goes wrong.

Vegas Aces: takes Tether, pays Bitcoin, bonuses aimed at the US

Vegas Aces is an offshore casino with a US-style slots and table game lobby. Its banking page lists Tether, USDT, USDC, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash for deposits, alongside cards. Crypto deposits run from a $10 minimum to a $50,000 maximum, and the minimum withdrawal is $20. Payouts go out in Bitcoin, and ID may be requested before a withdrawal is released.

For a USDT player, the Bitcoin payout is the big trade-off. You play with a stable balance, but the moment you withdraw, you're holding Bitcoin. If Bitcoin drops 5% between the payout and the moment you sell or swap it, your winnings drop with it. It can go the other way too, but that's speculation you didn't sign up for.

The bonus picture also needs care. Vegas Aces advertises welcome codes VAWELCOME1 to VAWELCOME4, but section 8.5 of its terms says welcome bonuses are only available to players in the United States. Canadians shouldn't count on them. For any reload code, ask support in writing whether it applies to a Canadian account before you deposit. Its terms also say every deposit carries a cash playthrough equal to the deposit before you can withdraw, and that card deposits have a 72-hour hold before a withdrawal can be requested.

Good for: players who want a US-style slot lobby and are fine receiving Bitcoin on the way out. Not ideal for: anyone who wants to stay in stablecoins end to end, or who's counting on a welcome bonus from Canada.

SlotsParadise: Tether in, Bitcoin out, and a bonus that includes Canada

SlotsParadise shares a lot with Vegas Aces on the banking side: cards and crypto, crypto deposits from $10 to $50,000, Bitcoin as the only payout method, and ID required for most payouts. Card deposits carry a 72-hour hold before you can request a withdrawal, which is one more reason crypto players prefer to deposit in crypto.

Where it differs is bonuses. SlotsParadise's terms say its welcome bonuses are only available to players in the USA and Canada, and that only US and Canadian accounts can use deposit bonuses. For Canadians, that makes it one of the few offshore casinos whose welcome offer is explicitly meant for you. The main code, WELCOME1, gives 250% up to $2,500 on a first deposit, with a 35x wagering requirement on the deposit plus the bonus, a $50 minimum deposit and a $5,000 maximum cashout. There's also a crypto starter offer advertised at up to 250% plus 500 free spins on your first crypto deposit, and free-spin codes with set maximum releases.

Run the numbers before you take any of it. A made-up $50 deposit with WELCOME1 gives you $125 in bonus, a $175 balance and 35 × $175 = $6,125 in required wagering. At a 4% house edge, the expected loss on that much wagering is about $245. That doesn't make the bonus useless. It makes it a way to stretch your playing time, not a way to make money. If you want to withdraw quickly, skip the bonus.

SlotsParadise also lists games you can't play while a bonus is active, including live casino games, progressive slots, roulette, baccarat, craps, crash games, Sic Bo, Pai Gow, Plinko and Fan Tan. Those games also don't count towards the wagering. Read that list before you start.

Good for: slots players in Canada who want a deposit bonus and don't mind a Bitcoin payout. Not ideal for: players who want USDT withdrawals or the freedom to cash out without wagering requirements.

BetUS: Tether deposits, but confirm the network first

BetUS has been around since 1994. Its own press page describes it as licensed in Curaçao, while third-party reviews tie it to a licence issued in Mwali (Comoros). Either way, it isn't a Canadian licence. For Canada, it's crypto-only. Its help centre has deposit guides for Bitcoin, Tether, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, USDC and Bitcoin Lightning, and says most deposits are processed instantly or within a few minutes. Payout timing varies by method, from a few hours to several business days.

The detail that matters for USDT: BetUS hasn't publicly confirmed which Tether networks it accepts. Many players assume Tron (TRC-20) because it's cheap and popular, but if the cashier shows an Ethereum (ERC-20) address and you send on Tron, your funds can be lost. BetUS's terms are clear that crypto transfers are irreversible and that it isn't responsible for a wrong address or network. Always read the network label in the cashier, every time, and send a small test first.

Good for: players who also want a sportsbook and racebook under one roof. Not ideal for: anyone who wants a clear, published list of USDT networks before signing up.

Getting USDT in Canada is harder than it used to be

Here's something many guides skip. Since 2023, the Canadian Securities Administrators, the umbrella group for provincial securities regulators, have applied rules to "value-referenced crypto assets", which is regulator-speak for stablecoins. As a result, USDT was delisted from Canadian crypto trading platforms registered under that framework. USDC has generally remained available.

That leaves Canadians who want USDT with a few realistic routes:

For most Canadians, USDC is the practical stablecoin and USDT is the one you use if you already have it. That's worth knowing before you pick a casino based on Tether alone.

Cashing out USDT back to Canadian dollars

Winning in USDT is only half the job. Getting it back into your bank account is where the stablecoin rules bite again. Because USDT was delisted from Canadian platforms registered under the CSA stablecoin framework, many of them won't let you trade incoming USDT, and some may not accept it at all. Sending USDT to a platform that doesn't support it can leave your funds stuck or lost.

Here are the realistic options:

Two more things. First, check whether your Canadian platform accepts transfers linked to gambling sites. Cloudbet's own help centre suggests asking your exchange about this. Second, when your platform receives a withdrawal from Cloudbet, it may show the sender as "Halcyon Super Holdings B.V." in Curaçao because of crypto Travel Rule requirements. That's expected and legitimate.

How we compared these casinos

We looked at each casino's own banking, promotion and terms pages and its help centre where one exists. Where a detail came only from a third-party review, we said so or left it out. We focused on what a USDT player in Canada needs: which networks are accepted, the deposit range, what withdrawals are paid in, verification rules, whether bonuses are open to Canadians and how clear the terms are.

We didn't rank on game counts or flashy welcome numbers, because those change all the time and say little about whether your Tether gets back to you. Details like minimums, networks and bonus terms change too, so always check the casino's current cashier and terms before you deposit. If something on this page no longer matches what you see, trust the casino's live terms.

Picking the right USDT network

The network you choose decides how much you pay to move your Tether and how fast it arrives. The casino doesn't set these fees. The blockchain does, and they change with traffic. Here's how the main options compare in general terms.

NetworkTypical fee levelSpeedNotes for casino deposits
Tron (TRC-20)Low, but your wallet may need TRX for energyFastVery popular for USDT. Supported at Cloudbet; not confirmed at BetUS.
Ethereum (ERC-20)Highest; can be several dollars or more when busyA few minutesWidely supported, but expensive for small deposits.
BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20)LowFastNeeds a little BNB for gas.
SolanaVery lowVery fastNeeds a little SOL for fees.
PolygonVery lowFastMake sure it's native USDT, not a bridged version.
Avalanche C-ChainLowFastCloudbet doesn't accept bridged USDT.e, only native USDT.
TONLowFastCommon in Telegram wallets. Some TON deposits need a memo or comment, so check the deposit screen.

Three rules cover almost every mistake people make here:

  1. Match the network on both ends. The network you pick in your wallet must be the network the casino's deposit address is for. Sending USDT on Tron to an Ethereum address is the classic way to lose money, and casinos generally can't recover it.
  2. Keep a little gas. On most networks you pay fees in the chain's own coin (ETH, BNB, SOL, TRX and so on), not in USDT. If your wallet has USDT but no gas, the transfer won't go.
  3. Send a small test first. At Cloudbet, the minimum is low enough that a test deposit costs almost nothing. At casinos with a $10 minimum, test with $10 before you send $500.

Why the payout currency matters: a worked example

Let's compare two made-up players who each deposit $300 in USDT, play for a weekend and finish with a $500 balance they want to withdraw.

Player A at a casino that pays in USDT. She withdraws 500 USDT on a cheap network and pays a small network fee. Her balance is still worth about US$500 when it lands, no matter what Bitcoin did over the weekend. She can hold it, send it to another casino later or swap it to Canadian dollars.

Player B at a casino that pays in Bitcoin. His $500 is converted to Bitcoin at the casino's rate and sent to his wallet. If Bitcoin falls 6% before he sells, he's left with about $470. If it rises 6%, he has about $530. He also pays a Bitcoin network fee, plus a trading fee or spread when he converts to dollars.

Neither result is a disaster. But Player B has taken on market risk he didn't plan for, and in Canada, selling or swapping that Bitcoin is generally a taxable disposition you need to track. If the reason you picked USDT was to avoid price swings, a casino that pays in Bitcoin brings them right back.

Bonuses with USDT: what to check

Bonuses at crypto casinos work differently from the matched bonuses you see on provincial sites, which often don't offer one at all. A few things to check when your deposit is in USDT:

If you'd rather keep things simple, skip the bonus entirely. Your USDT then stays fully withdrawable, subject to each casino's basic deposit playthrough.

The risks of holding USDT that nobody mentions

A stablecoin is designed to hold its value, but it isn't a bank deposit. Before you keep a large casino bankroll in USDT, know the trade-offs.

The practical move: keep only your playing money on the casino, withdraw winnings regularly, and don't treat a casino balance as savings.

Is it legal to use a USDT casino in Canada?

Here's the honest version. Under the Criminal Code, gambling is legal in Canada when it's run or authorized by a province. Each province runs or oversees its own online casino. None of those provincial sites accepts crypto, and none of the USDT casinos on this page is licensed by a Canadian province.

Offshore casinos operate under foreign licences, such as Cloudbet's Curaçao licence. Canada's Criminal Code focuses on the people running unlicensed gambling, not on individual players. In practice, Canadians are not usually prosecuted for playing at offshore casinos, but you also don't get provincial protections: no Canadian regulator to complain to, no provincial dispute process and no provincial responsible gambling tools. Ontario and Alberta have their own licensing systems for private operators, and this site doesn't serve players in those provinces.

For the full picture by province, see our guide to whether online betting is legal in Canada.

Taxes on crypto casino winnings in Canada

For most Canadians who gamble for fun, gambling winnings generally aren't taxed as income. The exception is people who gamble in a way the CRA sees as a business. Crypto adds a second layer, though: the CRA treats crypto as a commodity, so selling, trading or converting it can create a capital gain or loss.

With USDT, the gain or loss is usually small, because the price barely moves against the US dollar, but the US-to-Canadian exchange rate still counts when you convert. With a Bitcoin payout, the gap between the value when you received it and the value when you sold can be larger. Keep records of every deposit, withdrawal and conversion, and talk to a tax professional if the amounts are significant. This isn't tax advice.

How to choose: a quick decision guide

Checklist before your first USDT deposit

  1. Confirm you're of legal age in your province and that you're not in Ontario or Alberta if you plan to use this site's links.
  2. Read the casino's terms on restricted countries and bonus eligibility for Canada.
  3. Check the casino's supported USDT networks in the cashier.
  4. Make sure your wallet holds the right gas coin for that network.
  5. Copy the deposit address with the copy button, then check the first and last few characters.
  6. Send a small test deposit and wait for it to show up.
  7. Decide whether you'll take a bonus before you deposit, since some can't be added afterwards.
  8. Find out what currency withdrawals are paid in, and the minimum withdrawal.
  9. Have your ID and proof of address ready in case verification is requested.
  10. Set a deposit and time limit for yourself before you play.

Responsible gambling and help lines

A stablecoin keeps your balance steady, but the games don't. Every casino game has a house edge, and over time the casino comes out ahead. Treat it as paid entertainment, set limits before you start, never chase losses and take a break if it stops being fun. Crypto makes deposits very fast, which is exactly why a hard budget matters.

Questions players ask

What is the best USDT casino in Canada?

Of the casinos we cover, Cloudbet is the best fit if you want to deposit and withdraw in USDT. It accepts USDT on seven networks, has a very low minimum deposit and pays rewards in USDT with no rollover. It's licensed in Curaçao, not by a Canadian province, and we don't recommend it to Ontario or Alberta residents.

Which casinos accept Tether from Canada?

Cloudbet, Vegas Aces, SlotsParadise and BetUS all accept Tether deposits from Canadian players. Vegas Aces and SlotsParadise pay withdrawals in Bitcoin, and BetUS hasn't publicly confirmed which Tether networks it supports, so check the cashier.

Can I withdraw in USDT?

At Cloudbet, yes. Vegas Aces and SlotsParadise pay out in Bitcoin, even if you deposited Tether. At BetUS, check the withdrawal options in the cashier.

Which USDT network is cheapest for casino deposits?

Tron, Solana, Polygon and BNB Smart Chain are usually much cheaper than Ethereum. Fees change with network traffic, and your wallet needs a little of the network's own coin to pay them. Always pick a network the casino supports.

What happens if I send USDT on the wrong network?

Funds sent on an unsupported network or to the wrong address are generally unrecoverable. Match the network on both ends and send a small test deposit first.

Can I still buy USDT in Canada?

USDT was delisted from Canadian crypto platforms registered under the CSA's stablecoin rules, while USDC has generally stayed available. Many Canadians buy USDC instead, or buy another coin and swap it to USDT in a self-custody wallet.

Do USDT casinos offer bonuses to Canadians?

Some do. SlotsParadise says its welcome bonuses are for USA and Canada players. Vegas Aces says its welcome bonuses are for US players only. Cloudbet's welcome package and rewards program are open to eligible Canadian players. Always check the current terms.

Do I need to verify my identity at a USDT casino?

Usually, at some point. Cloudbet asks for verification once cumulative deposits reach about US$2,200 and limits daily withdrawals to US$2,200 until you're verified. Vegas Aces, SlotsParadise and BetUS may ask for ID before releasing a withdrawal.

Are USDT casinos legal in Canada?

None of the USDT casinos on this page is licensed by a Canadian province. Canadian law focuses on operators rather than players, and players are not usually prosecuted, but you don't get provincial protections. The legal online casinos are the provincial ones, and they don't accept crypto.

Do I pay tax on USDT casino winnings?

Recreational gambling winnings generally aren't taxed as income in Canada, but converting or selling crypto can create a capital gain or loss. Keep records and ask a tax professional if the amounts are significant.
