BetUS Promo Code in Canada: Which Codes a Canadian Account Can Actually Use, What the Rollover Really Costs, and What to Ask Before You Deposit
18+ (19+ in most provinces). Canadian players: crypto deposits and payouts only. BetUS is an offshore site, not licensed by any Canadian province. Not available to Ontario or Alberta residents through this site. Ad: we may earn a commission. Bet only what you can afford to lose.

If you've searched for a BetUS promo code from Canada, you've probably seen big numbers: thousands of dollars in free play, 125% matches, cash bonuses on crypto. Some of those offers are real and listed on BetUS. The catch is that not all of them apply to a Canadian account, and the ones that do come with rollover rules that change their value a lot. So instead of throwing a code at you and hoping it works, let me walk you through what BetUS actually lists, what its own terms say about who gets the welcome package, and how to work out in two minutes whether a code is worth taking. That's how I'd explain it to a buddy before he deposits a cent.
The ground rules first. You need to be 19 or older in most provinces, and 18 in Manitoba and Quebec. This site does not serve Ontario or Alberta residents. BetUS is an offshore sportsbook and casino; it is not licensed or authorized by any Canadian province, and for Canadian players it works with crypto deposits and payouts only. The legal options where you live are the provincial sites, such as PlayNow in BC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, or Loto-Québec in Quebec. Every bet and dollar figure below is a made-up example to show the maths.

The short answer
BetUS lists several deposit offers on its promotions page, and some well-known codes (like JOIN125) circulate on review sites. But BetUS's own terms and conditions (section 10.7) say that "Welcome Packages are only available to certain states within the USA". So the big headline welcome package may not be available to you as a Canadian. Other offers, such as crypto cash bonuses and reloads, may be. The only way to know for sure is to check the offer in your account's cashier or ask support before you deposit, and to make sure the code is applied before the deposit goes through.
That might not be the exciting answer, but it's the one that saves you from depositing for a bonus you can't get.
What BetUS lists, and what's confirmed
Here's what we found, with an honest note on how sure we are about each one. Offers change often, so treat this as a starting point, not a promise.
| Offer | Headline terms | Where it comes from | Canada note |
|---|---|---|---|
| First-deposit cash bonus | Up to $500 cash on your 1st deposit, max deposit $2,500, 6x rollover in sports | BetUS promotions page (checked October 2026) | Ask whether it's open to crypto-only Canadian accounts |
| Sports re-up | 100% sports re-up plus 10% cash bonus up to $70; 8x rollover on the sports bonus, 3x on the cash; min deposit $100 | BetUS promotions page | Reload offers are often less restricted than welcome packs, but check |
| Three-deposit package | $1,000 on your first 3 deposits, min $50; 10x sports, 25x casino | BetUS promotions page | Counts as a welcome package, so section 10.7 may apply |
| Three-deposit sports package | $750 on your first 3 deposits, min $50; 10x sports | BetUS promotions page | Same as above |
| JOIN125 | Reported as 100% sports free play up to $2,500 plus 25% casino up to $625, min $100; 14x sports rollover (18x with crypto), 30x casino, $2,500 casino cash-out cap, 14 days | Search-engine summary of BetUS's welcome page; we could not open that page to confirm | Welcome package, so likely US-only per 10.7 |
| 20CASH | Reported as a 20% crypto cash bonus with 6x rollover | Same unconfirmed summary | Crypto-focused, so worth asking about |
Notice the pattern. The "$500 cash on a $2,500 deposit" offer works out to 20%, which lines up with the reported 20CASH crypto bonus. Crypto cash bonuses like that are the kind of offer most likely to matter for a Canadian account, because crypto is the only way Canadians can bank with BetUS.
Free play vs cash bonus: they're not worth the same
Before you compare numbers, know what kind of bonus you're looking at. BetUS uses two very different kinds:
- Cash bonus. Bonus money that behaves like real money once you've met the rollover. If you bet $50 of it and win, you get your stake back plus the winnings.
- Free play. A bet credit. When a free-play bet wins, you usually get only the winnings, not the stake. And according to the reported JOIN125 terms, free-play wagers don't count toward the rollover.
Here's why that matters, with a made-up example. Say you get $100 as free play and put it on a 50/50 game at odds of -110 (decimal 1.91). If it wins, you get about $91 of winnings; if it loses, you get nothing. On average that free play is worth around $45, not $100. A $100 cash bonus on the same bet would return $191 when it wins, so it's worth closer to $95 on average. Same headline number, roughly half the value.
What the rollover really costs, in dollars
Rollover (also called wagering or playthrough) is how many times you have to bet an amount before you can withdraw. Every bet you place costs a little on average because of the bookmaker's margin, so a big rollover can eat most of a bonus. The tricky part is that the terms don't always make clear whether the rollover applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus the bonus. So here are both, with made-up numbers and a 4.5% average margin, which is typical for standard -110 lines on both sides.
| Made-up offer | Bonus | Wagering if it's on the bonus only | Expected cost at 4.5% | Wagering if it's on deposit + bonus | Expected cost at 4.5% |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 20% cash, $250 deposit, 6x | $50 | $300 | about $13.50 | $1,800 | about $81 |
| Re-up: $100 deposit, 100% sports bonus at 8x | $100 | $800 | about $36 | $1,600 | about $72 |
| Free play $100 at 14x | $100 (worth about $45) | $1,400 | about $63 | $2,800 (if $100 deposit counts too) | about $126 |
Look at the last row. A $100 free play worth about $45 on average, with $1,400 of rollover costing about $63 on average, is a losing deal unless the rollover only touches part of it. The first row is the opposite: a small cash bonus with a light 6x rollover on the bonus alone keeps most of its value. That's the real lesson: a small cash bonus with low rollover often beats a giant free-play number.
Want to check any offer yourself? Multiply the amount the rollover applies to by the rollover number, then by about 0.045 for standard sports lines. If the answer is bigger than what the bonus is really worth, skip it.
Casino bonuses at BetUS: an even bigger rollover
The casino side of these packages uses much bigger rollovers: 25x on the three-deposit package and a reported 30x on the JOIN125 casino part, with a reported $2,500 cash-out cap. On slots with a 4% house edge, 25x on a $100 bonus is $2,500 of wagering and about $100 of expected cost, which is the whole bonus. Casino bonuses like these only make sense if you were going to play that much anyway and the games you like count toward the rollover.
Banking from Canada: crypto only
For Canadian players, BetUS works with crypto deposits and payouts only. Its help centre has deposit guides for Bitcoin, Tether, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, USDC and Bitcoin Lightning, and says most deposits are processed instantly or within a few minutes. A few practical points from its terms and help pages:
- Minimums: $10 minimum deposit (terms 5.9) and $10 minimum withdrawal (terms 5.6).
- Deposit rollover: the terms mention a minimum 1x rollover on deposits before withdrawing, even without a bonus.
- Networks: we couldn't confirm which USDT networks the cashier supports publicly, so check the cashier for the exact network before sending. Crypto transfers can't be reversed (terms 8.13), and BetUS isn't responsible for a wrong address or network.
- Payouts: BetUS says some methods complete within a few hours while others can take several business days, after its review.
- ID: BetUS can ask for verification at any stage (terms 2.5), and payouts go only to a verified account holder (5.5). Get it done early.
One more thing about promo codes and crypto: many sportsbooks require the code to be entered in the cashier before the deposit is sent, because a crypto deposit can't be "re-done". Ask support how it works for your account.
How to claim a BetUS code the safe way
- Open your account through the link on this page and confirm your email.
- Go to the cashier and look for the available promotions on your account. If a code isn't listed, ask live chat (or call 1 (888) 512-3887) whether it's open to a Canadian crypto account.
- Get the answer in writing in the chat: the bonus type (cash or free play), rollover, whether it applies to bonus or deposit plus bonus, minimum odds, time limit and any cash-out cap.
- Enter the code before you deposit, and choose the coin and network shown in the cashier.
- Send a small test deposit first if you're new to crypto.
- Check that the bonus shows up in your balance before you place a bet.
19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC). Crypto deposits. Cloudbet is licensed in Curaçao, not by any Canadian province. Not for Ontario or Alberta residents. Ad: we may earn a commission. Bet only what you can afford to lose.
When to skip the promo code altogether
You're allowed to say no. Skip the code if:
- You might want to withdraw soon. An unfinished rollover can lock your balance.
- You only bet small amounts now and then. A 10x rollover on a few hundred dollars may take months.
- The bonus is free play with a big rollover, like the last row of the table above.
- Support can't tell you clearly whether the offer applies to your Canadian account.
BetUS compared with the other link on this page
The second link here goes to Cloudbet's welcome offer, so it's fair to compare how they're built. Cloudbet's welcome package (terms 8.4) runs for 30 days after your first deposit of any amount and pays up to US$2,500 through casino rakeback, daily casino cash drops and weekly sports cash drops, which its help centre describes as real cash with no wagering. BetUS mostly uses classic match bonuses and free play with rollover. Neither is licensed in Canada. Which is better depends on how you bet: a sports bettor who places a few bets a week may find a small low-rollover cash bonus or a wager-free reward simpler than a big free-play match.
Licence and legal picture
BetUS's terms say it complies with the laws of the Island of Mwali in the Comoros, and its terms are governed by Netherlands Antilles law. A public registry lists a Mwali licence for MILVUS Ltd, a company that third-party reviews connect to BetUS. BetUS's terms also say the player is responsible for checking local law and that it makes no representation about the legality of your play (sections 2.4 and 13.2). None of this is a Canadian licence. If you want a provincially regulated sportsbook, use your province's site.
A made-up example, start to finish
Kyle in Regina has $250 in USDC he's happy to bet over the hockey season. He opens a BetUS account and asks live chat which offers are open to his Canadian crypto account. Chat confirms a 20% crypto cash bonus with 6x rollover on the bonus only. He enters the code, deposits $250 on the network shown in the cashier, and gets $50 in bonus cash. He needs $300 of bets to clear it, which at his usual $20 a game is 15 bets. Expected cost: about $13.50, so the bonus is still worth around $36.50 on average. He skips the free-play welcome offer because chat can't confirm it's available to Canadians. That's a good, boring, sensible use of a promo code.
Common myths
- "A bigger bonus is always better." Not with big rollovers or free play. Work out the cost first.
- "I can add the code after depositing." Often you can't. Ask before you send crypto.
- "Rollover only matters if I lose." It matters most when you win, because it decides when you can withdraw.
- "The code on a review site must work in Canada." Many published codes are aimed at US players. BetUS's own terms limit welcome packages to certain US states.
Taxes and records
For most casual bettors in Canada, gambling winnings aren't taxed. Crypto is different: selling or swapping coins can create a gain or loss for the CRA. Keep a simple log of deposits, bonuses, withdrawals and dates.

Questions players ask
Is there a BetUS promo code for Canada?
BetUS lists several offers, but its terms (10.7) say welcome packages are only available to certain US states. Crypto cash bonuses and reloads may be open to Canadians. Check your cashier or ask support before depositing.
Does JOIN125 work in Canada?
We couldn't confirm it. It's reported as a welcome package, and BetUS's terms limit welcome packages to certain US states, so ask support first.
How do Canadians deposit at BetUS?
With crypto only, such as Bitcoin, Tether, Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash or USDC. Minimum deposit is $10 per BetUS terms.
What is the rollover on BetUS bonuses?
It depends on the offer: listed offers show 6x, 8x or 10x on sports and 25x on casino. Ask whether it applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus.
Is free play worth less than a cash bonus?
Usually yes. A winning free-play bet typically pays only the winnings, not the stake, so it's worth roughly half its face value on even-money bets.
Is BetUS legal in Canada?
BetUS is not licensed by any Canadian province. This site does not serve Ontario or Alberta. Provincial sites like PlayNow and Loto-Québec are the licensed options.
